I'm a qualified primary school teacher with 10 years in Victorian classrooms. I help students in Years 3-9 finally "get" maths through structured lessons, real teaching, and a curriculum that actually makes sense.
"Since attending Maths Club, Dilara now says 'I love maths, mum - I'm not sure why I always said I hated it.'"- Ilknur K., parent of Year 6 student

Everything in Self-Paced, plus weekly live sessions
After 10 years teaching in Victorian primary schools, I've seen the same pattern over and over: smart kids who "hate maths" - not because they can't do it, but because no one's explained it in a way that clicks for them.
"I built AusMaths because I got tired of watching kids fall through the cracks. Every child deserves a teacher who actually knows how to teach maths - not just someone reading from a textbook."
My approach is straightforward: structured lessons that follow the Australian Curriculum, taught by someone who's spent a decade learning what actually works in the classroom.
Start with a free diagnostic test - it takes 15 minutes and finds exactly where your child is at. No commitment, no credit card.
Self-Paced gives you access to 2 recorded lessons per week to work through at your own speed. Live adds one weekly Zoom session where your child learns with me in real-time and can ask questions. Both plans include exit tickets and progress reports.
It's a 35-question adaptive test that gets harder or easier based on answers. This finds your child's true ability level - not just their school year. I review every result personally before confirming placement.
That's exactly why we use diagnostic placement! A Year 6 student working at Year 4 level gets Year 4 content. A Year 4 student ready for Year 6 content gets that instead. No embarrassment - everyone works at their level.
Yes. You can upgrade to Live anytime if you want that weekly interactive session, or switch to Self-Paced if the timing doesn't work. You'll always keep access to recordings regardless of which plan you're on.
The full Australian Curriculum V2.0 for each year level - Number, Algebra, Measurement, Space, Statistics, and Probability. Two lessons per week covering every content descriptor. Aligned for every state - Victoria uses the Victorian Curriculum while other states use the Australian Curriculum. Both are very similar and all differences have been mapped. Students don't miss out on any content they learn at school. Homeschool students also get bonus real-world maths lessons.
All sessions are recorded and uploaded to your portal within 24 hours. Your child can catch up anytime. Many families watch recordings even when they attended live - great for revision!
Each week has 2 sessions (Session A and Session B). Recordings are available by the end of each week. Exit tickets (quizzes) are available at the start of each week. Students are encouraged to try the exit ticket after watching the lesson, but they can attempt it beforehand too. They get 3 attempts - it's not a test, it's a feedback tool to check understanding.
Absolutely! We have dedicated daytime sessions for homeschool families. I essentially become your child's maths teacher for the week. Homeschool students also get bonus real-world maths lessons covering practical skills like budgeting, understanding bills, and financial literacy that regular schools often skip.
